About Us
Mediterranea is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in Mallorca, Spain in 1999. The organization has no internal expenses and believes that all the funds accumulated should be spent on people in need. The organization is made up of 100% volunteers.
Mediterranea NGO can be defined as:

Able to function either nationally or internationally.
Able to collaborate with other organizations in specific programs.
Maintains a policy of rigorous control of its finances trying to economize and use its funds in the most cost effective manner possible.
Financed through private donations, membership quotas as well as donations from specific fund-raisers.
Comprised solely of volunteers.
